Hi, I’m new here!

I’m Sondey Olaseun Hiranaka! I’m a Bronx native that has been living in Japan for over 10 years. I started studying Japanese in high school, and studied abroad in Nagoya, Japan in 2012. I’ve had so many experiences here in the land in the rising sun, and I hope I can share them with you!

I think it was last month that I announced that I was working on a children’s book on facebook to my close friends and family. I’ve been working on and off on this book for over 2 years, but this is the year when things are coming together to make something substantial.

So, I want to commemorate this milestone with a website and an expression of gratitude to everyone who has helped me along my path thus far! I hope to make this website a place where you can get updated on what I am doing as well as get to know me better. It’d be my honor for you to join me on this journey.
